Why does it say at the top that there are 1948 films available? When I check both the "New Arrivals" list and the "Date Added" list, I don't see anything new, and on those pages, it says that there are 1908 films total.

Who used to be obsessed with Prelinger numbers? That was hilarious (and wasn't you, Christine!)

Anyhow, since I can see in the admin page, I can see there are some brand-new (I think!) Prelinger movies in the process of being converted and approved, thanks to Skip and Rick. Woohoo!

Parker@Archive also has copies of the missing Prelingers, incidentally, and will re-import those when he has time. That won't affect the number count, though, just the missing details page content.

I think Ridetheory was the obsessed one.. (he always is the peculiar one ;) )

Intrigued by the '1948' picture number, and simon's statement that 'there might be some Prelingers in transit' I checked out, and I encourage you too, the 'Where am I in line?' feature in the Open source movies section, which is at http://www.archive.org/services/contrib-queue.php . A quick visit there showed that YES! There's some movies just waiting to be brought up! Including.... GANG BOY!! The OTHER pentultimate Sid Davis film!!! YESsssssssssssss!!!
